I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend spent with family and friends. I’m so thrilled to finally share our 2017 family Christmas pictures. Last year we shot our Christmas cards in Uptown Charlotte. This year we opted for a more Southern Country look with two of our favorite furry friends. This mama & daughter duo of donkeys seemed interested in the Christmas trees more than anything.
Working a full-time job and blogging is a complete juggling act. I’ll be 100% honest, sometimes it’s exhausting and overwhelming. I need and crave balance in my life so trying to find that in the midst of everything is hard sometimes.
This weekend was FREEZING in Charlotte (okay like 46 degrees). Since the temps have been dropping, I’ve been keeping my eye out for warm, cozy sweaters. I’ve also became hooked on bright pink sweaters since I found this one. This sweater is equally cozy but at a much more reasonable price. If you don’t love the pink, there are several neutral colors. How cute is this beanie?!? It also comes in several colors and I can’t get enough of it. It’s only $14 too!
During college, I wore cardigans but I never really liked how I styled them. I always ended up looking like a school girl rather than effortlessly chic. As my style has evolved, I feel like I’ve cracked the code for styling a cardigan. For me, they have become a closet staple because they are a transition piece I can wear for work and play. I have 5 tips for helping you style your cardigans:
