If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times… I’m not a fan of the color yellow. However, this fall, I have to keep myself from buying yellow/mustard pieces. I couldn’t control myself when I saw this dress because the print and style screamed Charleston to me. Oddly, this dress had negative reviews but I loved everything about it.
One of my “fashion” goals when I started working as an attorney was to buy more business dresses. When I accepted my offer I began searching. I went to several retailers and tried on dresses but nothing seemed to fit right. The shoulders were too big or the styles looked really old. I wanted to look fashionable but nice enough to be taken seriously.
Last weekend, my mom and I went on a girl’s date to see the broadway version of The Little Mermaid. We both love going to see broadway shows when they come to Charlotte. We went to our first one a few years ago for my mom’s birthday and we’ve tried to go every year since then. The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie so to say I was excited was an understatement.
I know it doesn’t feel like it yet but sweater weather is quickly approaching! I wanted to share some great sweaters that are still in stock from the Nordstrom sale. I bought this Vince Camuto sweater for two reasons (1) it can be worn in warmer months, and (2) blush pink is going to be a HUGE hit for fall.
