You know when you buy something you just really love and know that you will wear in several areas of your life…. yeah, this is that top. Black has always been a chic color so I found it perfect for work. I couldn’t wait to wear this top and to be honest I wore it to work before I shot this look (usually I shoot a look before I wear it into my everyday life because I usually spill something -facepalm).
Hopefully you all had a great Halloween and start to your November! If you follow me on Instagram (@themeganwhite), you saw we went to Disney World. We had an awesome time but unfortunately a nasty cold came home too. I spent the weekend recovering and binge watching Stranger Things. I also spent the whole weekend in sweatshirts, pajama pants, no makeup, and glasses. I was dreaming of looking cute in a fun lace-up dress.
Okay, so you know I’m obsessed with dogs. Bo is currently sitting on my lap snuggling me and I don’t mind it one bit. This sweet little pup is my parent’s dog, Roscoe. He is such a ham (if you can’t tell). He was more than happy to pose for photos during my shoot. Roscoe was abandoned near Christmastime while I was in college and wandered up to my parent’s house. We have no idea what type of dog he is, but he’s a pretty awesome mutt. My parents instantly fell in love with him and he found a new home.
I wore this shift dress to church on Sunday. Evan and I started teaching a Sunday School class this past October. We are teaching 1st & 2nd grade for the first time ever. This was a brand new experience for us but we have fell in love with all these sweet kids! If you work with kids, you’ll understand this but the key is dressing comfortably!
