I’ve never considered myself a very conscious person about the products I use for home, healthcare, etc. Around November of 2017, I began thinking about our new home and how I wanted it to be a place of refuge and health. For sometime I considered getting a diffuser and oils but I was so unsure of how to use them. I didn’t want to waste my money and find no benefit or not know which oils to use. I did a little research and found that the Young Living brand has some of the best oils and diffusers so I took the plunge.
For years I’ve loved writing handwritten notes to friends and family. When I was small, my grandmother (“Mamaw”) and I would leave little handwritten notes for each other. It was a fun little game we continued until she developed Alzheimer’s.
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend spent with family and friends. I’m so thrilled to finally share our 2017 family Christmas pictures. Last year we shot our Christmas cards in Uptown Charlotte. This year we opted for a more Southern Country look with two of our favorite furry friends. This mama & daughter duo of donkeys seemed interested in the Christmas trees more than anything.
Much of this past weekend was spent cozied by the fire, eating popcorn, and watching christmas movies. This time of year is so nice to cozy up and relax. Today, I’m sharing my cozy holiday wishlist for those who love to relax like I do!
Monogram Throw: I’ve bought so many throws for our new house because I love making our home feel cozy. Especially during the winter, I love displaying them for guests to use or for simple decor. This throw is monogrammed to add an extra special touch. Perfect for a dorm room, apartment, or house because the gray color matches everything!
Marble Phonecase: I absolutely love marble because it’s so elegant looking (even if its on a phone case). This marble styled case is only $20.00 and super cute. I’ve been looking for a marble one similar to this for several months but most of them are so outrageously expensive.
Cable knit Scarf: One of my favorite trends is cable knit sweaters and scarfs. They are extremely soft and elegant. I have a white one that I actually wore in a few Christmas photos. I love the blush color in this scarf because it can be paired with virtually any top.
Pom Beanie: I have this beanie in white and I love it. It’s so warm and fits perfectly. Express has a ton of great styles in pom beanies and regular beanies. When I was shopping at Express, they were flying off the shelf because they are affordable and cute. This would be a perfect gift for a friend or even a great stocking stuffer.
Tie Sweater: The detail on this sweater is amazing. I LOVE the tie sleeves. This is a style that looks great on everyone. This blush sweater is great for work and play. This is one of those sweaters you wear when cozied by the fire with friends and family.
Teddy Bear Robe: This robe is on my personal wishlist. I seriously love everything about it from the gray color to the teddy bear hood. This robe is $60 but one of those great investment pieces. Let’s be honest… how much time do you sit in your robe picking out clothes. I know I’m guilty so I might as well look cute while doing it.
Rose Gold Bracelet: Seriously love this rose gold bracelet. Another great stocking stuffer or gift for a friend. This bracelet looks extremely expensive but comes in at $45 which is an amazing price. If you don’t love rose gold… this piece comes in both silver and gold. These bracelets are stackable as well so you can mix colors or simple wear one single piece.
Llama Socks: I can’t resist a cute pair of warm socks to wear while watching my favorite Christmas movies. These are ONLY $9 and even cheaper at checkout. The llama detailing adds some fun to your cozy winter look.
Pom Slippers: These slippers from Target are so fun and the perfect addition to a night in. Pom Pom everything is so in and these beauties are super cheap. The pink velvet adds a chic look to these slippers. These beauties even go past Christmas because of the bright pinks. They can be worn year round.
