I’m so sorry for the delay in posts but moving, buying a house, and going on vacation stole my time away. I’ve been working hard to keep you all up to date via Instagram and Insta stories. However, I’m really excited to share some great looks with you over the next few weeks.
Summer ’17 is officially over. I hope you got to celebrate and enjoy those last rays of summer. Evan and I went to Charleston, South Carolina for a little R & R. We made the trip with some of our friends from college. We started a “Labor Day trip” a few years ago and have been pretty consistent on making the trip each year. The last few trips have been to Charleston because we LOVE it so much. I’ll be doing a few Charleston guides in the next few weeks to give you the ins and outs of our favorite little city.
Before we left, I ordered this embroidered Kimono for the trip. It seemed perfect to sport during a nice Charleston breeze. As soon as I put it on, I loved it. It’s very unique in how it is embroidered. I wore this for a quick Starbucks run and morning boat cruise around the Charleston harbor. Kimonos are a great summer to fall transition piece because they can be worn with shorts or jeans. I know I will be wearing this Kimono into fall with the right accessories.
For this trip, I paired this Kimono with my favorite cut-off distressed shorts and white tank for a casual look. A kimono is an easy way to make an outfit looks effortless. Any body type can pull of a Kimono which is what makes them so highly sought! All the details for this look are listed below-Oh, and this Kimono is 40% OFF.
I hope you had a fabulous LDW and I can’t wait to spill the details of Charleston trip.
