I am so incredibly excited to share an event I am co-hosting with Kendra Scott Southpark. You are invited to join us for sips, sweets, and jewels to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. 20% of the proceeds on September 30th from 12-2pm benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. You can even place an order over the phone during these two hours to help benefit our cause (just mention the Alzheimer’s event).
I hosted this event a few years back (before my blogging days) and it was such an amazing event. I wanted to re-host this event to invite all my favorite blogging babes and because I LOVE all the ladies at KS Southpark. They are amazing and will help you design any piece of jewelry you want. If you have never had a KS piece, you are missing out. I honestly love their unique design and the ability to create a piece that is truly your own. These pieces are quality and last. If you want to invest in beautiful, timeless pieces… KS is your place. Oh and you have to see their Fall collection!! Luckily, it will be out in time for this event.
As I said before, this event benefits the Alzheimer’s Association which is an organization I love and respect. In January of 2015, my Mamaw (grandmother) passed away. She suffered for nearly 10 years with alzheimer’s and dementia. If you have ever experienced a love one go through this process, it is heartbreaking and overwhelming. Their memories, personality, and style disappear before your eyes. Luckily I have many fond memories before the Alzheimer’s and dementia appeared and I hold on to those dearly. My Mamaw loved fashion and jewelry (probably where I get it from) so I know this event would fit her perfectly. My goal is to raise awareness and push for change in the Alzheimer’s community but I need your help! I want to honor my Mamaw by raising money for an organization that helps others like her and also supports their family members.
If you are interested in stopping by, please RSVP to me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to see and/or meet you! If you would like to make a donation to my Alzheimer’s Walk team, you can make a donation here.
Thank you all for the continued support you give year after year in honor of my Mamaw. She was truly an amazing person and would have loved you all so much.
